When I found out we were shooting MoneyBag Mello’s “Life on Mercury” video down in Baltimore, I HAD to tag along and get some behind the scenes footage of how it all went down. The shoot date for the video had been postponed once because of rain and cold weather, but we were able to head down to Maryland a few weeks later in hopes that Mother Nature would cooperate enough to let us get a full day’s worth of shooting in. And weather being what it is on the East Coast, you never know what you’re going to get when you walk out the door; no rain, but it SURE wan’t warm!! Big shouts to everybody that braved the brisk windy climate that day to help create another successful video.

This is the second video to Mello’s mix tape titled “Life on Mercury”. On this track Mello explains what life on mercury is to him, and with some help from the ProChillers we present this latest video, directed by The ProChillers Jimmy Ngo, Luis Guanzon, Jamar Harris and Tato Arent.
We couldn’t have done it without the crew. So when Mello came to us and said lets do another video, with no questions asked we said lets do it. I originally wrote the treatment with more than one location in mind. However due to weather, time and lack of budget we had to do some tweaking on the fly. Thanks to Jamar’s idea of getting some shots at Dru Hill Park in B-More which ended up being the prime and only location. We kept true to the treatment but just scratched the other locations. We hope everyone enjoys this latest video brought to you by ProChillers!!

Honestly, I usually don’t watch this type of biking but what Danny Macaskill does in this video is amazing. Instead of taking it to the streets or a course, he uses obstacles in a location with an old school train yard and old factory buildings. Check it out, you won’t be disappointed.
